Elevated Roundabout 6th Street
Scope: Technical, administrative, financial, legal, social and environmental auditing for the adaptation of 6th Street to the Transmilenio system in the section between the Caracas and NQS trunk roads, including the intersection 6th Street – NQS, in Bogotá D.C.

Challenges
- Supervision of the construction of the first roundabout at the third level. We participate in the optimization of construction times.
- 35- and 50-meter-deep piling construction with state-of-the-art seismic isolators.
- Construction of the TL5 metal barriers with North American technology to reduce the risks of the Transmilenio operation.
- Construction of the ‘Pipe Jacking’ system and spillway for the pluvial and sanitary network.
- Geotechnical monitoring to control the movement of structures.
- Construction of two Transmilenio stations.
- Disassembly and assembly of the metallic pedestrian bridge, located in the NQS with 6th street.
Additional Services
- Review and adjustments to the received designs, which allowed to deliver concepts to the contracting entity and contractors so that the designs will improve.
- Supervision of the construction of stations (buildings).
- Inspection of water and basic sanitation: review of designs and supervision of works.
